English tutors who speak Persian
Every tutor here teaches English and speaks Persian as well, so when an explanation will not land in English there is a way through it rather than a shrug. That matters most at the beginning; by the time you are arguing in English it matters very little, and you should choose on the teaching.
Lessons here run from $5 to $25 an hour, most of them around $12. 18 of the 23 have passed the WeaTeach assessment (1 master, 5 gold, 10 silver, 2 bronze), which is also what caps the price they may charge.
