Lessons here run from $14 to $18 an hour. All of them have passed the WeaTeach assessment (1 master, 1 gold), which is also what caps the price they may charge. Between them they name IELTS, Business English, Job Interview, English For Software Engineers among their specialties.

Can we work on my own project?
Yes. Most lessons here are spent reading your code together, fixing what is broken and deciding what to build next — which is what a tutorial cannot do.
Do the lessons cover interviews and take-home tasks?
Several tutors on this page prepare developers for technical interviews and review take-home submissions before you send them.
Can I try a tutor before committing?
Yes. The $5 Trial Pass gives you a 25-minute trial with up to four different tutors, so you can meet several people before you settle on one.
How are WeaTeach tutors checked?
Tutors take a recorded assessment — an interview and a teaching demo — reviewed by a person, not only by AI. It grades pronunciation, grammar, fluency and teaching skill, and the resulting level is shown on the tutor's card.
What happens if a lesson does not go ahead?
Your payment is held, not spent. You confirm the lesson afterwards, and if something goes wrong you report it and the money stays put until it is sorted out.
