Kids and teenagers tutors and teachers
Children learn from a person, not a platform. These tutors teach kids and teenagers one-to-one, keep the camera lively, and tell you afterwards what your child worked on.
Lessons here run from $4 to $20 an hour, most of them around $9. 21 of the 25 have passed the WeaTeach assessment (1 master, 1 gold, 16 silver, 3 bronze), which is also what caps the price they may charge. Between them they name Conversation, General English, English for Kids, Business English among their specialties.
Questions people ask
Can I watch my child's lesson?
Yes. Younger children usually start with a parent nearby, and tutors tell you afterwards what was covered and what to practise.
How long should a child's lesson be?
Twenty-five to fifty minutes depending on age. Tutors on this page teach children regularly and will tell you after the first lesson what length holds your child's attention.
Can I try a tutor before committing?
Yes. The $5 Trial Pass gives you a 25-minute trial with up to four different tutors, so you can meet several people before you settle on one.
How are WeaTeach tutors checked?
Tutors take a recorded assessment — an interview and a teaching demo — reviewed by a person, not only by AI. It grades pronunciation, grammar, fluency and teaching skill, and the resulting level is shown on the tutor's card.
What happens if a lesson does not go ahead?
Your payment is held, not spent. You confirm the lesson afterwards, and if something goes wrong you report it and the money stays put until it is sorted out.
