No — in English, because that is what the test and the job are in. Spanish is there for the explanation that will not land otherwise, which saves the ten minutes a monolingual lesson loses to guessing.

They work on the band descriptors, a marked essay and the speaking test rehearsed out loud. Each card shows the level the tutor was assessed at and their next free slot in your own timezone, and one free Trial Pass lets you meet up to four of them before you commit.

Tutors take a recorded assessment — an interview and a teaching demo — reviewed by a person, not only by AI. It grades pronunciation, grammar, fluency and teaching skill, and the resulting level is shown on the tutor's card.

Your payment is held, not spent. You confirm the lesson afterwards, and if something goes wrong you report it and the money stays put until it is sorted out.
