Englisch-Nachhilfelehrer, die Spanisch sprechen
Every tutor here teaches English and speaks Spanish as well, so when an explanation will not land in English there is a way through it rather than a shrug. That matters most at the beginning; by the time you are arguing in English it matters very little, and you should choose on the teaching.
Lessons here run from $5 to $22 an hour, most of them around $18. 3 of the 4 have passed the WeaTeach assessment (2 gold, 1 silver), which is also what caps the price they may charge. Between them they name IELTS, Wirtschaftsenglisch, Unterhaltung, General among their specialties.
Fragen, die Menschen stellen
Will the lesson be taught in Spanish or in English?
In English, mostly — that is what you are here to practise. What Spanish buys you is the ten seconds where a word will not come or a rule makes no sense: the tutor explains it in your own language and the lesson carries on instead of stalling.
Is a tutor who speaks Spanish worth choosing over one who does not?
Below about B1 it usually is, because the alternative is guessing. Once you can follow an explanation in English it matters much less, and you should pick on teaching rather than on the shared language.
Was passiert, wenn eine Lektion nicht stattfindet?
Deine Zahlung wird gehalten, nicht ausgegeben. Du bestätigst die Lektion danach, und falls etwas schiefgeht, meldest du es und das Geld bleibt liegen, bis es geklärt ist.
In welchen Sprachen funktioniert die Seite?
WeaTeach is fully translated into English, Chinesisch, Koreanisch, Japanisch, Türkisch, Deutsch, Französisch, Italienisch, Portugiesisch, Polish, Spanisch, Swedish, Hindi, Thai and Vietnamese, including what tutors write on their own profiles.
Wie viel kostet ein Online-Tutor bei WeaTeach?
Die Lektionen beginnen bei $5 für 50 Minuten. Was ein Tutor verlangen kann, wird durch das Niveau begrenzt, das sie im WeaTeach-Test nachgewiesen haben, sodass der Preis auf einem Profil immer ein realer, buchbarer Preis ist.
