Hello! I am an English teacher currently based in the UK. My journey into teaching English began right at home. My mother hosted international students who came to improve their English, and through getting to know them, I discovered my own passion for teaching. I began offering private tutoring and quickly realized how much I enjoyed helping people communicate more confidently in English.
I have now been teaching English for over a decade, both in person and online, working with students from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds. This experience has taught me that every learner is different. Some students need help with grammar and vocabulary, while others understand English well but struggle to speak confidently, naturally, and without overthinking.
As a teacher, I am patient, supportive, and encouraging. I understand that learning a language can sometimes feel challenging, especially when you are worried about making mistakes. My goal is to create a relaxed and welcoming environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, practising, making mistakes, and learning at your own pace. Building confidence is an important part of my teaching.
My lessons are structured, practical, and personalized to your level and goals. I work with beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners, and I can adapt lessons for different needs, including general English, conversational English, Business English, interview preparation, exam preparation, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and everyday communication. Each lesson has a clear focus, with opportunities to learn new language, practise it, receive corrections and feedback, and apply what you have learned in realistic situations.
I also provide lesson materials after each class so you can review what we have covered and continue practising between lessons. If you would like additional practice, I can provide optional homework tailored to your level and goals. Most importantly, I want my students to see their progress and feel more confident using English in real-life situations. Whether you are just starting your English journey or looking to refine your existing skills, I will support you with patience, encouragement, and lessons designed around what you want to achieve.
